BIGGEST STORY | The “Am” is turning Pro. Bryson DeChAMbeau (AM capitalized for pun and phonetics) is going to try to make some cold hard $$ this week at the RBC Heritage. It shouldn’t be too hard for him, considering within the last six months he’s had a runner-up finish at the Aussie Masters, top 20 finish in Dubai, and a T-21 at THE MASTERS last week. Professional checks won’t be a problem for this kid, and it should be a seamless transition into his first PGA event as a pro.
Jason Day aka “#1” | This guy has been FIRING. Coming off two wins and a solid T-10 at The Masters. Definitely deserving of the #1 title. Although he would describe his finish last week as “disappointing,” he was in the hunt on Sunday. Tough to win three in a row. Last start at Harbour Town: T-9 in 2011.
Kevin Kisner | T-37 last week in his Masters debut. Pretty good for a guy that grew up just 20 minutes away. The Kiz was runner-up last year in Hilton Head. Maybe he didn’t get the Green Jacket last week…but he wouldn’t mind wearing Tartan on Sunday.
Davis Lov3 | How relevant is this guy right now? T-42 last week (including an ace)…Ryder Cup captain…FIVE wins at Harbour Town…not to mention he won last year on Tour at the age of 51. Oh yea…it’s also his birthday today.
